Who are these Chumps?

What’s up guys – Hunter here. I recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma, and I am now the Director of Marketing for a commercial real estate firm in Oklahoma City. I got married June 18, 2010 and have no kids and no dogs (yet).

This is me, sans-beard, with my wife. I am a lucky guy!

If you had to boil me down to 5 words, it would be God, Family, Food, Sports, and Music.

I love cold weather, OU football and Marlins baseball. I have a pretty ridiculously wide range of interests…probably too many to even list here. Let me try a more interesting way to tell you what I like…

If I could choose how I die, I would be sitting at my drum set, in October, on the bank of a pond, fishing with one hand, holding a bible in the other, reading, eating a donut, with my wife and family and friends and my dog which I don’t have yet, playing x-box, listening to the band For Today, watching the original Willy Wonka movie and the MLB playoffs (multiple solar powered satellite tv’s DUH), sporting a mohawk & giant beard, wearing an OU shirt, jorts, and a Marlins hat, painting a picture of it all with my foot, when all of a sudden…the entire world explodes.

I mean, I’m just sayin’…if I could choose.

Me Llamo Adam

Hey this is Adam, the other glutton that posts here.  I am a minor emergency nurse for 40 hours a week and the rest of the time I enjoy more hobbies than any normal person should.  First my love of food that began at an early age.  My mom tells me that chips and salsa was one of my first solid foods as a baby, so my taste for Mexican food has been in training for about 25 years.

Me and Tina

I even married a Mexican named Tina.  Well she’s 1/4 and doesn’t speak a word of Spanish, but she does share my love of food, and Mexican food specifically.  We have been married just over 2 years, and she’s also a nurse.  We spend as much time together as work allows, and she is my soulmate in gluttony.  We have 2 hyper Australian Shepherd dogs, 1 of which can and will, beat your dog in a frisbee catching contest.

We are Christians, and attend church regularly, which I feel is a very important aspect in life, and influences how we live.  Our faith allows us to live life to the fullest and have no fear of death.

My other hobbies include:  riding motorcycles – I learned to ride a dirtbike before I learned to read.  Thanks Dad!  I have ridden all over the country with my Dad on Adventure Tour bikes, which are basically massive street legal dirtbikes with huge fuel tanks.  It is my #1 favorite hobby.  I also ride mountain bikes a lot.  There is a group of guys that ride every Wednesday morning at Lake Draper at 8:00, so if you wanna join us just let me know.  I, like Hunter, love heavy metal music as well.  I have been to around 60 or 70 concerts in the past 8 years or so and continue to attend when I have time.  I’m sure that this will help my hearing in years to come.  Some of my favorite bands are:  August Burns Red, The Showdown,  and Lamb of God.

Now that  you’ve seen our faces, you will probably spot us at some of the best eateries in the metro area – we’re there a lot….

-Adam

Hi Hunter and Adam, What’s the best way to contact you with a suggestion for a restaurant you should check out?

Hey Jackie – Sorry we’ve been out of pocket here for quite a while. However, we’re going to be re-branding the blog and starting back up again. Were you interested in us reviewing Slim Chicken’s? I’d be happy to, I love it, but I haven’t been in quite a while.

Hi Amy – Sorry we’ve been out of pocket here for quite a while. However, we’re going to be re-branding the blog and starting back up again. Obviously we missed out on this opportunity, but we’d love to still try and work with you somehow. We’re going to be including a lot more healthy options, recipes, etc. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

      Hunter
